The fundamental, overarching issue with this wonderful old house is that some P.O. had a pink fetish.  Aside from the kitchen, with all its unique characteristics, every single room of the house is pink.  Pink wallpaper, pink paint, more pink paint, and then there is wallpaper that has been - can you guess?  Painted Pink!
 

I believe that prior to the pink fetish, there was a (powder) blue period as well (as evidenced by closet interiors and sloppy paint jobs on several window sashes).

The plan of attack at this point calls for tackling one room at a time - just as soon as the !@$# linoleum is out of the sun room!
